The trading competition is is divided into two tiers, each with its own prize pool and eligibility criteria:
Prize Pool = 430,000 BENJI + 70,000 VRTX
Minimum Account Size = 40,000 BENJI
Minimum Trading Volume = $10,000
Total Winners = 15
Prize Pool = 200,000 BENJI + 25,000 VRTX
Minimum Account Size = 4,000 BENJI
Minimum Trading Volume = $1,000
Total Winners = 15
To qualify for either tier of the trading competition, users need to reach a minimum deposit amount of BENJI tokens greater than or equal to the minimum BENJI deposit requirement for each tier to qualify for prizes.
New traders need to deposit a minimum amount of BENJI tokens to be eligible for prizes in each tier:
Tier 1 = 40,000 BENJI
Tier 2 = 4,000 BENJI
If your Vertex on Base account already holds the minimum deposit of BENJI tokens for either Tier 1 (40,000 BENJI) or Tier 2 (4,000 BENJI) before the start of the trading competition, you’ll automatically be eligible once the competition begins.
If your BENJI balance does not surpass the minimum requirements, then you’ll need to deposit more BENJI to surpass the minimum requirement thresholds for either Tier 1 and / or Tier 2.
Traders are ranked based on the best positive % PnL.

The positive % PnL (in USD) is calculated using the which takes into consideration cash flows in and out of the account to calculate the trader's performance.
