Trading Competition Overview

Join the Vertex x Mantle Trading Competition and face off against other traders for a chance to win a portion of the 100k MNT up for grabs in the prize pool!

  • Total Prize Pool = 100k MNT

  • Prize Pool Per Round = 20k MNT

  • Duration = 5 Weeks

  • Total Prize Winners (Per Round) = 50

  • Each Round = 7 Days

    • 6 Days of Competition

    • 24-Hour Break

Eligibility & Criteria to Participate

The trading competition's is divided into 5 individual rounds, designed with a low barrier to entry for both new and existing users. The long--tail prize distribution encourages continued participation throughout each round.

To qualify for any of the 5 trading competition rounds, users need to reach an account value of greater than or equal to $250 during a competition round:

  • New Traders: Deposit at least $250 worth of mETH, wETH, wMNT or USDC into Vertex on Mantle.

  • Existing Traders: If your account is worth $250 or more, you’ll automatically be eligible. If not, you’ll need to deposit more mETH, wETH, wMNT or USDC to surpass the $250 minimum requirement threshold.

NOTE: If you initially meet the minimum account value of $250 when the competition starts, but then your account value falls below $250 after the competition begins, you will still be eligible for the competition!

Rankings

Traders are ranked based on the best positive % PnL.

The positive % PnL (in USD) is calculated using the Modified Dietz Return Method which takes into consideration cash flows in and out of the account to calculate the trader's performance.

The leader-board for the trading competition will update roughly every 3 hours on the app. For the final results of each competition round, please allow for at least 3 hours to pass from the end of that round to view the official outcome on the app.

Prize Pool & Distribution

The top 50 traders from each of the 5 competition rounds will earn a portion of the 20k MNT available per round. The prize distribution per round is illustrated in the table below.
