Trading Competition Series -- Overview

Join the exciting 3-round Sei Trading Competition Series on Vertex! Each round offers an independent competition with a prize pool of 50,000 SEI tokens, totaling 150,000 SEI tokens over the course of roughly three weeks.

Compete against fellow traders for a chance to claim your spot as the top trader on Sei. Each of the three rounds will follow the same structure:

  • Duration = 5 Days

  • Start = Mondays @ 16:00 UTC

  • End = Saturdays @ 16:00 UTC

  • Total Prize Pool (Per Round) = 50,000 SEI tokens

  • Total Prize Winners (Per Round) = 20

Prize Tiers and Eligibility

Each round is divided into two tiers, each with its own prize pool and eligibility criteria:

Tier 1:

  • Prize Pool: 35,000 SEI tokens

  • Minimum Account Size: $1,000

  • Minimum Trading Volume: $10,000

  • Total Winners: 10

Tier 2:

  • Prize Pool: 15,000 SEI tokens

  • Minimum Account Size: $250

  • Minimum Trading Volume: $2,500

  • Total Winners: 10

Competition Schedule

  • Round 1:

    • Start: Monday, September 30th @ 16:00 UTC

    • End: Saturday, October 5th @ 16:00 UTC

10/05/2024: Round 1 has concluded. Prizes will be distributed directly to the winning wallets soon.

  • Round 2:

    • Start: Monday, October 7th @ 16:00 UTC

    • End: Saturday, October 12th @ 16:00 UTC

  • Round 3:

    • Start: Monday, October 14th @ 16:00 UTC

    • End: Saturday, October 19th @ 16:00 UTC

To qualify for either tier of the trading competition, users need to reach an account value of greater than or equal to the minimum requirement to qualify for prizes.

  • New Traders: Deposit at least:

    • Tier 1 = $1,000

    • Tier 2 = $250

  • Existing Traders: If your account is already worth over $1,000 and / or $250, you’ll automatically be eligible. If not, you’ll need to deposit more to surpass the minimum requirement thresholds.

NOTE: If you initially meet the minimum account value of either Tier 1 and / or Tier 2 when the competition starts, but then your account value falls below the minimum requirement after the competition begins, you will still be eligible for the competition!
